Just ahead of the Magic Kingdom’s 50th celebration, the Main Street Confectionery hosted by Mars Wrigley, is set to reopen on September 29.  I know I missed this treasured classic on my last visit to the Magic Kingdom and I can’t wait to see these amazing updates!

With a fresh new look, but same nostalgic feel and experiences, the newly outfitted Main Street Confectionery is sure to impress. Guests will step into this turn of the century shop and instantly be transported to a time when sweet treats and family time went hand in hand.  From watching goodies being made to taking home a sweet treat, the Main Street Confectionery is still a must stop shop on Main Street USA.

For Guests looking to satisfy their sweet tooth, they will love colorful new candy wall.  This wall boasts 38 varieties of M&M’s and SKITTLES and is beautiful!

For Guests looking for a savory snack they can indulge in the new personalized popcorn experience.  Guest will choose from four difference popcorn flavors – caramel, rainbow fruit, buttery, or cheddar – and then top it off with some M&M’s or perhaps a chocolate drizzle!  (Is your mouth watering yet because mine sure is – and checkout the cute 50th anniversary popcorn!)

In addition to old returning favorites like candy apples and Mickey crisped rice cereal treats, Guests will find new favorites.  The sweet treat masters have developed a new Peanut Butter Fudge – featuring creamy peanut butter fudge topped with M&M’s Peanut Butter Candies and drizzled with chocolate.    There will also be limited time treats for the World’s Most Magical Celebration starting October 1.  I can’t wait for the EARidescent M&M containers – how cute are these!

My personal favorite is watching the talented Cast Members make these amazing goodies and we will continue to do so when the Main Street Confectionery reopens!

This has always been a must stop on my list at the Magic Kingdom and I can’t wait to experience all this new yummy goodness!  What is your favorite treat from the Main Street Confectionery?  Leave a comment below – we would love to hear from you!
