When planning a Walt Disney World vacation, I often recommend that each adult have a MyDisney Experience profile. This allows for both a backup planner if a phone is lost during the trip and also an extra set of hands to secure Lightening Lane reservations!
If you have your own MyDisney Experience profile, you will want to all the person planning the trip to connect to your profile. This will allow them to link tickets, make dining reservations, and secure Genie+ reservations for you.
To connect accounts the person wishing to manage the account must take the following steps:
- Go to the Walt Disney World Website
2. Go to MyDisney Experience
3. Click on My Family and Friends
4. Log into your MyDisney Experience Account – Don’t have one? Go HERE for step by step instructions.
5. Click On Add a Guest
Select I’ll enter the name and age
Enter the details about the person you wish to connect with.
When you enter the Age and Birthdate the option to manage or invite the guest will appear. The invite guest option will only appear if the person has an existing MyDisney Experience account.
Select Invite Guest to connect.
Select Done
An email has been sent to the Guest and you will see them listed with an invitation pending on your Family and Friend list.
The email will look like this and comes from Disney Destinations:
The person Clicks Accept
You will now see the Guest in your list.
Click Save
You should now be able to manage vacation plans for this Guest.
