Are you as excited as my husband is the for opening of TRON Lightcycle/Run at Magic Kingdom? On our most recent trip to Walt Disney World, he could not take his eyes off the construction area and now he will have even more reasons to stare!
Disney Imagineering announced today that TRON Lightcycle/Run is moving into the next phase of ride testing known as “push/pull”. In this phase the seven vehicle trains will move through the entire ride, testing height clearances and movability. Once this is complete, launch testing will begin. Trains will be tested at incremental speeds, eventually moving up to full-speed launches. Since part of this ride is outdoors, guests will be able to see this testing from Tomorrowland, something that rarely happens!
