Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open October 1 at Epcot with a virtual queue process. Similar to the virtual queue experience for Rise of the Resistance (which was put on pause this week), Guests will have 2 opportunities to join the virtual queue. The process Disney outlined today is as follows:
- Guests with a valid ticket or pass and theme park reservation who will start their day at EPCOT can access the virtual queue system via the My Disney Experience app and check for an available boarding group starting at 7 a.m. on the day of their park reservation. This can be done before Guests arrive at the theme park.
- If Guests are unable to join the morning virtual queue opportunity, they may check for an available boarding group starting at 1 p.m. after they have entered the park. Keep in mind, Guests must be at EPCOT to access this second virtual queue opportunity, and access to a boarding group is subject to availability and not guaranteed.
If you have any experience with Rise of the Resistance you know that you will want to do the following in advance:
- Create a My Disney Experience account
- Download the My Disney Experience mobile app on your smart device and make sure you have the latest version downloaded (trust me every minute is crucial in securing your reservation and you do not want to wait for an update!)
- Link your park tickets to your My Disney Experience Account
- Make sure you have access to all members of your party
- Have a valid Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT for the day
- Sync your mobile device clock with the World Clock (literally every second matters!)
Disney asks that only one person per party attempt the virtual queue to avoid causing problems with your booking. I have booked the virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance and had multiple people in my party accessing the queue and never had an issue, however we will test things out with Remy and report back.
