As the World’s Most Magical Celebration continues, so does the merchandise. Walt Disney World is releasing new 50th Anniversary merchandise this spring and here is your first look!
EARidescent Shimmer Collection
Adding a new hue to the shimmer collection, this new merchandise will feature the blue and gold tones of Cinderella Castle. The collection will include a Loungefly backpack. Minnie headband, and later in the spring a Spirit Jersey will be released.
I am loving this new color scheme! I am a huge fan of Cinderella and although I was able to resist some of the other EARidescent collections, I may fall victim to this one!
Disney Vault Balloon Collection
In 1971, this colorful Mickey Mouse balloon print adorned the shopping bags located at retail locations al over Disney World. The bold and colorful design has both a retro and modern day feel that you are sure to fall in love with – and who can resist those Mickey ears! This collection will include a beloved Spirit Jersey, bucket hat and a Loungefly backpack – you can see it there in the picture! This will be a must have for all the retro fans!
Celebration Collection
This collection will include a new dress by Dress Shop, Dooney and Bourke handbags and youth apparel. In addition to apparel, this collection will include a Goofy, Donald and Daisy plush in their celebration outfits.
My daughter has been waiting for those characters to be released so I guess we better make more room in her playroom! I am loving this new dress and can’t wait to see what the Dooney will look like (not that I need another purse but then again this is a once in a lifetime celebration!)
Orange Bird Collection
Calling all Orange Bird fans – you do not want to miss this collection debuting in late spring! There will be plenty of apparel and accessories including a denim jacket, a flower power dress from the Dress Shop and a cross body bag. If you love Orange Bird or that vibrant orange look you will not want to miss the pieces in this collection!
Just when I thought I might have finished shopping for 50th merchandise it looks like I am not! I love so many pieces in these collections I expect that I will be doing some serious shopping! I am hoping that inventory is better than past releases, but inventory issues are still affecting the market.
