Walt Disney World Resorts announced today that Disney’s All-Star Sport Resort will undergo a “refresh” of the Sports theme area and remain closed for the time being. A re-opening date for this budget friendly hotel has not been released yet.
Guests with upcoming reservations at the All-Star Sports Resort will receive an email communication notifying them of the closure, asking them to contact their Travel Professional to rebook their hotel stay. This change will not impact dining or theme park reservations; however, guests should be aware that we are heading into Disney’s busiest time of year and availability is limited at many of the properties. I recommend rebooking as soon as possible.
